farm stay ANIMALS
There are so many exotic animals and birds that roam the paddocks and farmyard. Located in the Thames/Coromandel area, our farm stay guests will have ample opportunity to interact with highland cows, bulls, llamas, sheep, rams, emus, peacocks, guinea fowl, pheasants and hens.
The birds receive a healthy diet of mixed grain feed daily. Sheep and llamas get fed multi-feed pellets during the winter and summer months. The cattle eat hay and multi-nuts during the winter months.
Please contact the host for feeding times.
Shearing of the sheep and llamas occurs in early December, lambing is usually end of May/early June, calving around August/September.
